Students who have passed their FSLC exams with a mark of 200 and over deserve to be given a place in Form 7, and all schools must cater for their students.

Education Minister Filipe Bole said this is part of the Ministry's Zero Dropout Policy, adding that school heads, school management and parents need to be aware that this policy supersedes any school policy the management put in place as criteria of students selection.

Bole said the issue of schools setting criteria for an average pass of 250 marks and over, was set by the Education Ministry as a guideline so to help students easily enter tertiary institutes.
