Rugby bad boy Zac Guildford is making a turnaround to his troublesome life and is edging closer to a return to top level rugby.
Guildford has been named on the bench for the Crusaders Super Rugby round six clash against the Southern Kings.
The former All Black has played only part of a pre-season game after withdrawing from the Crusaders in late January and attending a month long alcohol rehabilitation course.
Crusaders head coach Todd Blackadder has meanwhile made four changes to the team that played the Bulls last weekend.
In the starting 15 Willi Heinz takes the number 9 jersey while Luke Romano returns from injury moving Andy Ellis and Dominic Bird respectively to the bench.
Meanwhile, Sharks centre Frans Steyn has been dropped from the starting fifteens for Sunday's clash with the Rebels in Durban.
The Springboks midfielder's axing is one of seven changes to coach John Plumtree's run on side which suffered their first defeat of the season against the Brumbies last weekend.
Tomorrow at 6:35pm the Chiefs will face the Highlanders.
On Saturday at 6:35pm the Crusaders meet the Kings, the Reds will clash with the Bulls at 8:40pm, the Force meet the Cheetahs at 10:45pm Saturday.
On Sunday the Sharks will meet the Rebels at 3:05am, Stormers host the Brumbies at 5:10am while the Waratahs will tackle the Blues at 3:05pm.
