We will be showcasing the connection that still exists with Fiji's youths and their traditional culture.
Fiji Arts Council Director Letila Mitchell said they are working with students from the Conservatorium of Music, and the basic theme of the opening ceremony of the Pacific Youth Festival will revolve around traditional culture and keeping it alive with the youths of today.
Mitchell said they have also allocated time for the international participants to take part.
Over 800 participants from 12 Pacific Countries are expected to take part in the Pacific Youth Festival next week. The official opening will be held on the 11th of July.
