Getting youths to know how to tackle everyday life is essential and this will be one of the main focus for the Pacific Youth Festival.
Pacific Youth Festival Organising Committee member and Fiji Alumni President, Jacob Itautoka said through the Festival they will be using four days to discuss and carry out practical work under the topic "Skills for life".
600 participants are expected to take part in the Pacific Youth Festival and a total of 240 volunteers will be used for the 7 day Festival with the Ministry of Labour OHS Department holding workshops.
With the theme, Auctioning the Youth Agenda 11 countries will be taking part with the likes of Tuvalu, Solomon Islands, PNG, Tonga, Marshall Islands and Nauru with 140 delegates from Fiji.
The opening ceremony will be held on the 11th of July and starts with a march through Suva.
