Over 5000 youths are part of the National Youth Scheme will now have go through a placement agency to get jobs.
This is after the Interim Cabinet yesterday approved the request by the Interim Minister for Education, Filipe Bole for the registration of an Agency that will act as the placement arm of the Scheme that will link clients with employers and divisional offices.
Manager for the Scheme Villiame Baledrokadroka said the Agency is part of the new Employment Act which came into effect last Friday.
Baledrokadroka also adds they hope to finalize all paperwork this week.
A total of 5,981 youths are participating in the National Youth Service Scheme where they will go through 6 weeks of training before they go on a three month attachment.
