A family in Omkar road in Nasinu is living in fear after some youths threw stones at their home early yesterday morning and they received no police assistance.
Praveena Prasad told Fijivillage that their home was stoned when she alerted nearby families that some thieves were trying to enter their home.
According to Prasad, they are now losing confidence in the police.
Nasinu Police Station officer-in-charge Peter Samisoni confirmed that a report was received on Sunday morning but when officers reached the scene they could not spot any thieves.
