Two youths are expected to appear in court tomorrow charged with robbery with violence.

Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said the two armed with cane knives forcefully entered a shop in Mulomulo, Nadi, and threatened the owner.

It is alleged that when the shop owner tried to defend himself, the two struck his hand with a cane knife and in the process the owner received injuries.

The two tried to flee after stealing the cash however they failed as they were caught by the few people passing around the area.

The two are expected to appear in the Nadi Court tomorrow.
