Nabua Police have arrested and charged three youths for allegedly abducting a 15-year-old girl and hiding her inside a house in Vatuwaqa over the weekend.
Police have confirmed that the three have been charged with Abduction and Conspiracy to Commit Misdemeanor and will appear in the Suva Magistrates court this afternoon.
It is alleged that the three abducted the 15-year-old Secondary School student from her house and kept her in Nanuku squatter settlement in Vatuwaqa.
The owner of the house who saw the girl reported the matter to the police and the three were arrested.
Police said the reason behind the abduction will be revealed in court this afternoon.
