Leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration motivated by passion, ignited by a purpose and you all need this.
That is the message the Police Commissioner Brigadier Iowane Naivalurua stressed to youths as he officially opened the National Youth Summit at the Police academy today.
Brigadier Naivalurua said youths remain the most vulnerable to crime and deviance and that they need to overcome these challenges in reaching the largely untapped potential that youths have for economic and social growth.
The two day summit will be a platform to establish an independent National youth Council.
Seventy seven youth participants from the central, eastern and northern division are currently attending the summit will also participate in the Fiji day celebration march tomorrow morning in Suva.
