A 21 year old unemployed youth is in police custody and is alleged to have injured a Police officer at the scene of a robbery over the weekend.
Police confirms that he was arrested by CID Strike Back team and is being questioned by Raiwaqa Police officers.
The suspect and two others allegedly robbed a 35 year old of $300 cash in Raiwaqa on Friday night when few police officers on patrol arrived at the scene and a police officer was stoned at during the incident.
Police investigations continue.
