A 21 year old unemployed man of Votua Housing Sigatoka charged with one count of murder appeared in a special court sitting this afternoon.

No plea was taken and Luke Tukuna was told to seek legal counsel.

Magistrate, Villiame Keteca remanded Tukana in custody, saying that he is facing a serious charge and that tension is still high in the area.

The case has been adjourned till 13th of next month. Tukana has been remanded at the Natabua Prison.

Meanwhile Divisional Crime Officer Western, SP Vijay Singh said the other person who was also arrested with the suspect has been interviewed and released.

The post mortem report yesterday revealed that the 29 year old man died of brain hemorrhage.

It is alleged the suspect punched him during a drinking party which caused his death.
