The Young People's concerned Network and the Provincial Youth Forum have decided to postpone their Gone-i-Taukei Youth Rally scheduled for this Saturday at the Kalabu Village Hall.
Spokesperson Peter Waqavonovono said more than 700 indigenous youths have registered to attend for which they require a bigger venue.
Meanwhile, Waqavonovono adds that he received a phone call and was asked his personal details. He claims that the person claimed to be senior police officer, Waisea Tabakau.
He said the rally is now expected to be held in April and the speakers are expected to be from the People's Charter, Media Industry, Judiciary, Interim Government, and NGO’s and Religious faiths.
When contacted this afternoon, Tabakau said someone could have used his name as he never called Waqavonovono.
