The Provincial Youth Forum is currently holding a three day meeting to iron out issues after reports that the youth representatives for the provinces of Rewa, Bua, Naitasiri and Namosi were questioning the appointment of Rupeni Silimaibau to the National Council for Building a Better Fiji.

Speaking to FijiVillage, vice president John Ryder confirmed they'd had a meeting with Young People's Concerned Network spokesperson Pita Waqavonovono - after hearing about the reports.

Waqavonovono this morning said that he had met with the four representatives who said they were worried about the comments made by Silimaibau to the media. Waqavonovono said they were concerned after Silimaibau said that he was speaking on behalf of all the youths in the country and added that "the youths of the country are crying out for the People's Charter."

However, Silimaibau has hit out at Waqavonovono's comments saying the Provincial Youth Forum is united in their stand.
