A 14-year-old Primary School student of Taveuni charged with one count of manslaughter will appear in the Savusavu Magistrates court this morning.
Police Media Liaison Officer Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed the student was charged yesterday afternoon and was brought to Savusavu from Taveuni.
The student is alleged to have stoned a 12-year-old boy that led to his death.
According to police, the student charged was known for his bullying tactics and was disciplined a number of times by school teachers for allegedly assaulting and bullying younger students.
