This weekend’s Pillay Garment Champion Versus Champion Series will be a special one for a 21-year-old Nadi soccer player Rahul Krishna as he will be making his debut.
Krishna is a former Sangam Sadhu Kuppuswamy Memorial College student who has also captained the Under 17 side and helped the Under 19 team to victory in the 2009 Secondary Schools tournament.
Krishna said he has worked hard for his place in the team and would like to dedicate his effort to his parents.
Meanwhile, some prominent players that will feature for Nadi are Ilimotama Jese, Uraia Loki, Rusiate Matarerega and Beniamino Matainaqara.
