Young athletes make mark in Ovalau Zone
One of the officials in the Ovalau zone, Iva Volavola said that they are keeping their eye on Dona Siano Ramakosoi who is impressive in the long jump event.
Ramakosoi who is a form six student at Saint John Cawaci can live his dream on the big stage and will be competing with other inter-boys during the Coke games.
On day two of the Ovalau zone, St John Cawaci is leading the medal tally with 7 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.
Levuka Public School is in second place with 6 gold and 2 silver while Delana Methodist has 1 bronze.
The fina1s in the track events are in progress at St John Cawaci High school in Ovalau.
In the Macuata Zone, Naleba College is currently leading with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze, Duavata Secondary is second with 2 gold and 1 bronze while Valebasoga Secondary is in third place with 1 gold and 1 silver.
