The Interim Attorney General said it was about time that young adults, who are 18 years and over, should be involved in the process of electing the government of the country.

Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the National Council for Building a Better Fiji has recommended that the voting age be reduced from 21 to 18 years as this was also recommended back in 1996.

Sayed-Khaiyum said the NCBBF believes people who are 18 years old are ready to vote.
