Sayed-Khaiyum said the fact that the IBA were invited by the Fiji Law Society who are litigants in one of the cases before the court indicates the partisan view that they could have.
Sayed-Khaiyum said they are not hiding anything.
The IBA President Fernando Pombo, in a press statement is calling on the interim government of Fiji to reverse its decision immediately and allow the International Bar Association the freedom to enter the country.
IBA Executive Director, Mark Ellis said he is disappointed that the Fiji government has taken such a draconian stance as it is depriving Fijians of the opportunity to have an open discussion and objective feedback on issues that are clearly of concern for both the country and the international community.
The Provincial Youth Council President John Ryder said the Interim Government should have taken time out to sit down with the IBA and explained their decision.
Ousted Leader of Opposition Mick Beddoes said the decision by the Interim Government is stupid adding the decision is suggesting the IBA members are not sufficiently qualified and lack the capacity to carry out such assessments.
The Citizens Constitutional Forum earlier said the barring of members of the IBA from entering Fiji could lead to further alienation of the interim government by the international community.
All this comes after IBA's Program Lawyer Felicia Johnston was not granted entry into Fiji over the weekend.
The delegation was scheduled to visit from 18th to the 22nd February.
