The Yellow Ribbon is not only for serving inmates but also for those that have just been released.
Project coordinator Isireli Dausiga said that many people think that the Project is only for those that have been sent to jail but through their project they are also looking at rebuilding the lives of those that are newly released.
Speaking on their latest success, Dausiga said that they have been able to rehabilitate one of their newly released inmates by securing his livelihood through the assistance of landowners.
Dausiga added that so far they have had a positive response from the public and hopes that this will continue.
The Yellow Ribbon was launched in October 2008 and has been implemented in all prisons around the country.
