A 23 year old prison inmate of Nasinu who was involved in an assault offence which saw him sent to the Nasinu Boys Centre, has earned himself a rugby referee certificate, thanks to the Yellow Ribbon project.
Amenatave Daunivucu who will be released in May said the Yellow Ribbon project changed his life.
The Yellow Ribbon 2009 was today launched by the Interim Fijian Affairs Minister, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
He said this is a chance for most inmates to turn a new leaf.
