The Nadi Athletics squad has brought in the services of former Marist Brothers High School long distance champion, Braemen Yee, to assist in their preparations for the annual FMF Chow Games Athletics competition at the TFL stadium this weekend.
President Kelepi Colata said unlike last year the team has implemented new training strategies, and with added expertise he is adamant the "jetsetters" team will do well.
Colata added that while they won only 2 Gold medals last year competition, Nadi is bringing in over 100 athletes who are aiming to win 10 Gold medals come Saturday.
Nadi managed to come 3rd overall last year, while Suva are the defending champions, and a total of 19 districts will be taking part.
The two-day FMF Chow Games will be held on Friday and Saturday at the TFL stadium in Suva.
