Xavier College will be carrying the hopes of the Ba District when they come down to the Coca Cola games next week.
School Principal Brother Francis Abraham said that the school will be sending a total of 51 athletes and they have been briefed of the expectations placed on them.
Brother Abraham adds that following their win at the Ba Zone Meet two weeks ago, where they bagged 37 Gold medals to win both the girls and the Boys Division title, the athletes are aiming for medal scoops.
Xavier College has produced good athletes in the 2003 Coca Cola Games won 13 medals and were ranked 5th overall at the finals.
Another well known athlete from the school is Vishant Kumar who represented Fiji to the 2007 SPG in the 5000 meters race.
The Coca Cola Games will be held at the TFL Stadium next Friday and Saturday.
