A World War Site tour organized by the Fiji Museum was a learning experience for the children.
A Class 8 student of Mahatama Gandhi Sahil Sharma said more trips as such should be organized so that students get to learn more about Fiji's past.
A Class 6 student of Tailevu Primary School, Jokaveti Baba said he learned a lot about the World War and enjoyed the games.
Meanwhile, a field officer who went along with the students Elia Nakoro said learning about the history of Fiji should be encouraged in schools.
Children visiting the museum visited the parliament, Forum Secretariat and world war sites.
They also enjoyed face painting, touch rugby and met students from other schools.
