World Rugby appoints Rokovereni to officiate as Assistant Ref at Wellington 7s

Local referee Tevita Rokovereni has been appointed by World Rugby to officiate as an Assistant Referee at the 2015/2016 HSBC 7s Series in Wellington.

Rokovereni has officiated in World Rugby tournaments including the World Rugby Junior Trophy in Portugal earlier this year and the recent Oceania 7s tournament.

This will be his first appointment for the 7s series.

The 26-year-old took up refereeing in 2006 and he has also officiated at the Pacific Mini Games in 2013 and the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea earlier this year.
