Digicel Fiji Sevens Coach Iliesa Tanivula said the World Games Sevens rugby competition will serve as an ideal build-up to the 2009/10 IRB Sevens World Series.

He said with players he has taken over to Taiwan, majority of them will be part of his team for next year.

Tanivula said the World Games is a good opportunity for the new players to shine, and since they have arrived in Taiwan, players have been fighting for their place in the starting line-up.

He said all the teams will be tough in the World Games and this will not be an easy tournament for Fiji, as they are aiming to claim a hat-trick this weekend.

Fiji is pooled with Hong Kong, Japan and Argentina and will begin their campaign against Hong Kong tomorrow at 6pm.
