The 2010 World Cup soccer tournament pools were drawn this morning in Cape Town.

Host South Africa were drawn in Group A with Mexico, Uruguay and France.

Argentina, Korea Republic, Nigeria and Greece are in Group B while England, USA, Algeria and Slovenia make up Group C.

Group D have teams like Germany, Australia, Ghana and Serbia. In Group E, Netherlands is drawn with Japan, Cameroon and Denmark.

Defending world cup champions Italy head Group F with Oceania representative New Zealand, Paraguay and Slovakia.

Brazil who will go as top favourites are drawn with Korea, Ivory Cost and Portugal in Group G, and Spain, Honduras, Chile and Switzerland are in Group H.

The World Cup soccer tournament will start next June in South Africa.
