A mother of three from Savusavu who attended a week long Seafood Processing and Value Adding Training Workshop is planning to set up a business with the assistance of a women's club in Savusavu.
Lusiana Uludolem, who is also a member of the Nagigi Women's Club, said she will utilize her training skills and with the assistance of the club, set up a business which will become a source of income for the women.
She also said that the workshop has made her realize the importance of using the resources available in Fiji and she will make use of this and spend less money buying items from supermarkets.
The workshop which was held at USP is aimed at helping increase food security to help reduce poverty among women engaged in fish handling and selling.
