Know the changes to the criminal laws in the country or your competence and integrity will be on the line.
Those were the words of former High Court Judge Nazhat Shameem who is conducting a workshop for around 200 prosecutors from the DPP's Office and the Police on the new Crimes Promulgation and Sentencing and Penalties Decree which comes into force from February 1st.
She said the Criminal justice system will depend upon how well the prosecutors can implement the changes.
The Workshop ends on Thursday.
