Works Ministry releases update report
In the Western Division in Nadi, the Nadi Back Road at the Town end is under 2.5m of water and is closed to all traffic, also closed is the Narewa Road Junction on the Queens Road which is under 1.5m of water.
In Lautoka, the Vuda Back Road is under 0.5m of water and is closed to all traffic, also closed is the Lomolomo Flats which is under 0.3m of water.
In Ba, the Wailailai Flats is under water and is closed to all traffic.
In Rakiraki, the FSC Road is under 1m of water and is closed to all traffic, closed as well is the bus stand in Vaileka Town while the Kings Road at the Rakiraki Police Post is under 0.4m of water and is open only to 4WD vehicles.
In Tavua, water at the Nabuna Flats at Yaladro and Nadarivatu has receded, however, it is still closed to all traffic.
In Nadroga, Kavaganasau Road, Yalava Flat is under 0.5m of water and is closed to all traffic, Valley Road, Laselase Bridge washout, closed to all traffic, Nasau Road, Lawai Crossing under water and is closed to all traffic, Natadola Beach Road underwater before wooden bridge, closed to all traffic.
In the Central/Eastern Division, in Nayavu, Waisomo Construction Area, Naqia Crossing, Baleinaga Crossing and Nayavu Bridge are covered in flood waters and are closed to all traffic.
In Naqali, the Sawani/Serea Road, Naqali Bridge is under 3.5m of water and is closed to all traffic, also closed is the Muaniweni Flats.
In Korovou, Kings Road, Wairuku Bridge and Wailotua Flats are underwater and are closed to all traffic.
In Rewa, Toga Road, Toga Crossing is underwater and is closed to all traffic while the Bau Tikina Junction has fallen trees, open only to single lane traffic with drivers to take care.
