The Works Ministry is still negotiating with other relevant stakeholders regarding what they need and want in the 2010 National Budget, which is expected to be announced next month.
Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said they are hopeful that most of their needs will be met.
Waqainabete said with inclusion of eleven new graders in their fleet last month, PWD is hopeful most roads in the Central/Eastern Division will be fixed and maintained by the end of the year.
