With the Laqere Bridge set to open in close to two weeks time, the Ministry of works has revealed they will now be focusing on the Northern Division.
Ministry Spokeswoman, Sainiana Waqanibete said that after successful work done on the Laqere Bridge, they are now looking at bettering the infrastructure in the North.
She adds that tourism is integral part of the Northern economy and they will be carrying out checks on roads and even have plans in the pipeline to build better bridges in certain areas.
The newly upgraded four lane Laqere Bridge is expected to be ready before the 20th of this month.
