The work on drafting the new media promulgation is underway.
Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said there are a number of issues to be finalized as they are using overseas resources to draft the new law.
He added all stakeholders will be consulted once the draft is ready.
Media Council chairman Daryl Tarte said they're worried about what's going to be in the promulgation however he hopes the review carried out by Jack Herman, Barry Sweetman and Suliana Siwatibau early last month will help improve the relationship between the media and the interim government.
