If we want to see our prisons empty we, as a society have to be true to the characteristics of morality, civility, family, forgiveness and mercy and love.
Those were the words of Liga Ni Loloma Social Worker and Chief Guest Paula Soututu at the launch of the Tagimoucia Art Gallery showcasing inmate's art work, paintings and writings as well as the launch of the "Shedding Silences" book at Korovou this afternoon.
Soututu said we must all work together to help those who are within prison walls.
The Heads of Pacific Island Corrections facilities were also treated to a tour of the Korovou Prison by Commissioner Prisons Iowane Naivalurua where delegates got to meet prisoners as well as have a look at the prison facilities.
