All Black and Blues prop Tony Woodcock will make his long awaited return to the rugby field tonight, playing for the Blues Development team in their final match of the Pacific Rugby Cup against the Fiji Warriors.

The 83 Test veteran has not played since the 2011 Rugby World Cup final, when he scored the only try of the match.

The Blues Development lineup has a number of changes to that which beat Tonga A, 40-3 last Friday night.

Meanwhile the Fiji Warriors team has made 11 changes to their starting line-up which beat the Crusaders Knights 17-13 last week.

Warriors had also defeated the Brumby Runners 16-3 last month, Junior Waratahs 30-15 but lost their first game to Queensland A 36-24.

The match kicks off in the next hour.
