The Fiji Women's Basketball team to the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Spain is hoping that 5 of their US based players will be released for the tournament.
Fiji Basketball Women’s team coach, Michael Whippy said that they know that the tournament will be tough, but he is hopeful of a good outing.

The Fiji Women's Basketball team has been placed in Pool C alongside Brazil and Spain in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament that will be held in Madrid.
Seven places have already been confirmed and five places for China will be up for grabs in this qualifying round.
The qualifying tournament kicks off in Madrid on June 9th.
