A lot of achievements made by women in today's society often go unnoticed and that is what we are hoping to change.
Those were the words of femLINNKPACIFIC Coordinator Sharon Bhagwan Rolls to the regional participants of the International Day of Peace Media and Civil Society Dialogue yesterday in Suva, highlighting the need for civil society to build a strong relationship with the mainstream media to bring to light the hard work put in by many women.
Rolls said they are hopeful that their community radio station will assist the mainstream media in this area.
The annual gathering of femLINKPACIFIC regional representatives ends on the 2nd of October.
