The Fiji women’s hockey side will settle for either Gold or Silver in the Pacific Cup Hockey tournament.
The Lucretia Smith led side reached the final in the women’s division after they defeated the New Zealand Maori 6-5 on penalty strokes. Both teams were locked at 3-all after the full time whistle.
Fiji will now face Australian Country in the final at 4pm today.
Meanwhile, in the Menes division Fiji President’s XI went down to New Zealand Barbarians 2-3 in the semifinal. The Fiji Presidents team will now play the New Zealand Indians at 2pm for the Bronze medal playoff.
Today's playoff matches in the Pacific Cup Hockey tournament will start at 12pm at the National Hockey Turf in Laucala.
