Fiji women’s basketball team ended their warm-up match against the touring Wellington side on a high note, as they prepare to compete in the Olympic qualifying tournament in Spain in June.

Michael Whippy coached side won their third and final warm-up match this afternoon by 100 points to 70. They led 66-30 at the halftime.

Whippy was satisfied with the win and also with the performance of the players and he will announce his final 10 member squad to travel to Spain in two weeks time.

Fiji won the first match on Tuesday by 96-68 while the second match on Thursday was called off after a power failure at the Vodafone Arena.
