Women are surpassing men in terms of achieving higher qualifications.
This was revealed by Economist Dr Wadan Narsey yesterday at the Fiji Economy Update 2009 who said surveys have revealed that more women within the age group of 20-34 years have degrees, and are more successful in terms of completing higher education.
Dr Narsey said men are not doing so well in examinations at all levels.
Dr Narsey had also questioned figures released by the Reserve Bank of Fiji on our foreign reserves.
According to Dr Narsey, the RBF has failed to pinpoint why the foreign reserves increased from around $400million to $700million since the devaluation.
