Services that respond to women must improve, as the end of 2009 has seen an increase in the number of repeat cases on domestic violence and child sexual abuse.

These are the sentiments of Fiji Women's Crisis Centre coordinator Shameema Ali on the latest statistics which shows that the number of repeat clients seen by the centre has increased from 708 to 979 and the number of child sexual abuse cases reported has increased from 38 to 56 at the end of 2009.
