The women of Ba highlighted their concern at the Ba Provincial Council meeting today that the chiefs should concentrate more on the upgrading of schools at the Primary school level.
President of the Women’s Wing in the Province Ilisapeci Jiuta said out of the 21 districts, 7 districts are currently faced with lack of proper school facilities and transportation.
The 7 districts include Savatu, Qaliyalatina, Naloto, Nalotawa, Vaturu, Magodro and Rukuruku.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Ba Province Ratu Meli Saukuru said a Development Committee is working together with the office of the Commissioner Western to improve facilities in these areas.
