The Fiji Women’s Rights Movement said that counselors who provide advice to young women should understand the types of issues they are faced with.
FWRM officer Michelle Reddy said it is important that women should be able to share openly to counselors and get away from topics that are considered a taboo in our society.
Reddy said this will create a safe space for sharing ideas that enable young women to make informed decisions.
