We hope to make our resolutions a reality by the year 2012.
This is the commitment made by participants of the Fifth Pacific Regional Meeting on Violence Against Women on resolutions reached regarding gender violence.
Assistance Coordinator, Edwina Kotoisuva said their resolutions includes encouraging men to support women's issues, affirm disabilities, human rights and facilitate research on gender violence.
60 participants from 12 pacific island countries took part in the meeting.
