Over 150 women have gathered in Cakaudrove to take part in a four day conference to discuss and learn about leadership and financial management.
The conference, organized by the Catholic Women’s League, will convene the International Rural Women’s Day celebrations in Kanakana Village in Tunuloa in Cakaudrove.
League member Asela Naisara said that they will look into ways to alleviate poverty and help rural women move forward.
The Catholic Women’s League is one of the largest women's organizations in Fiji with a membership of over 5,000 and its powerbase are the rural women.
