Rural women are always forgotten and that is why we have decided to hold this workshop.
These are the sentiments of the Nausori Rural Women's Association President Sharda Segran on their decision to hold a five day workshop to raise awareness on Child Protection next month.
Segran said most of the time women in rural areas are overlooked and they lack the basic child upbringing skills on safety issues which can be taught at the workshop.
The five day workshop will be held from the 5th to the 9th of January.
