A woman who allegedly abandoned her week old baby is expected to appear in Nausori court tomorrow.
Regional Crimes Officer Eastern, ASP Aurthur White confirms that the 27 year old mother has been charged with allegedly failing to provide necessity to life and has been remanded in custody.
The baby is still in the care of nurses at Nausori hospital. The baby was found abandoned in front of a house in Nakasi.
