A 40 year old woman is expected to be charged after she allegedly assaulted a Traffic Police Officer in Suva over the weekend.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita confirmed the woman with her husband had allegedly parked their vehicle at a no parking zone and when the traffic officer questioned them, an argument broke out.
The traffic officer was then allegedly punched and slapped in the process by the woman.
Some other Police Officers took control of the situation and arrested the woman.
