A 43 year old woman of Nadi who owns a travel Agent company was today released on bail by Nausori Magistrate court who is facing charges of obtaining money by false pretense.
Sharmila Devi Singh was released on $500 cash bail and will now appear on the 7th of next month when a plea is expected to be taken.
The court was told the woman who owns a Travel Agency and which has officers in Nadi, Suva and Nausori allegedly obtained $7000 from two people on two different occasions on the pretext of arranging visas for them.
The alleged incident took place last year.
The two complainants took the matter to police after nothing eventuated.
