A 62 year old woman from Nadounumai, Lami has been admitted at the CWM hospital after she was hit by a private car at Cunningham road at 6.30 last night.
Police say the 27 year old driver lost control of the car after it developed mechanical problems and later hit the victim who was walking on the footpath.
The driver has been questioned and released as Police investigations continue.
