A 59 year old woman of Serea, Naitasiri, is admitted at the CWM hospital after her husband allegedly threw a thermos full of hot water on her.
It is alleged that the two were involved in an argument earlier when the husband allegedly threw hot water on her.
She sustained serious burns and was rushed to the CWM hospital from the Wainibokasi Health Centre.
Police are questioning the husband.
